Gateway HALO Spacecraft Software Engineer

to join the team with our Engineering Division.Role

To fulfill this critical Gateway Halo Spacecraft Software Engineering role, you will need expertise in all aspects of the Human Rated software development life cycle, including:Software Management and OversightSoftware release planning and estimationSoftware testing and verificationReview lower-level software testing and verificationSoftware Process Assessments (including Compliance assessments) across the full development life cyclePerform software product assessment for completeness of design and implementation throughout the full software development lifecycleEnsure NASA requirements are satisfied by design solutions and support production/control board meetings, design and system reviewsSupport the development of CDR and manufacturing readiness review products and participate in module system reviewsInterface with NASA and spacecraft system engineering teamsSubsystem Software insight and oversightProvide engineering insight and oversight support for the Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) prime contractor on assigned subsystem or subsystems.Coordinate with the Gateway Subsystem Management team on programmatic requirement change requests, design review support, interface definition and control, verification integration, and provide status on high level development progress and issuesMonitor system integration, interface management and coordinationDemonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and coordination skillsMaintain a professional relationship with the NASA customer and other NASA support contractorsWork in a fast-paced, Agile environmentPerform other duties as requiredQualifications
