Role: Data AnalystLocation: Houston, TX (Hybrid)Responsibilities
Implement KPIs and tools for collecting agency reporting requirements and analysis of environmental data for approximately 190 upstream oil & gas production facilities.Develop and maintain a major Spotfire multi dashboard dedicated to the project.QA/QC data to promote improvement and request fixes at the source level.Complete periodic and routine reports internally and externally.Work closely with operations and facilities to understand facility design and operating parameters that impact data.Collaborate with the asset environmental team, operations, and engineering for implementation of requirements.Minimum Requirements
5+ years of experience in a data analyst position, preferably in oil and gas.Spotfire (required), Snowflake (desired), Sigma (desired), and SEEQ (desired) experience.Proficiency in the Spotfire Expression Language, SQL, and Python (or R) languages.Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to maintain the UI/UX of a major Spotfire project.Ability to write Data Functions, control actions with buttons, link other dashboards or reports from SEEQ into Spotfire, change column expressions, and understand data relationships in tabular formats.Experience in automating data outputs from Spotfire to build reports in Excel using Python or R scripts in any IDE is desirable.Understanding of IT resources such as Servers and Cloud.Project management skills, detail-oriented, with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint experience.Preferred Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with experience in IT or Data Analytics.Spotfire developer at the Tibco Spotfire Analyst level.Email:
