So, whatever your role, if you share our passion for helping others, you’ll be working towards creating a better and fairer future for all.In this role you have the opportunity to:Responsible for achieving a state of high quality performance at our Supplier partners and pursuing continuous quality improvement through the application of Quality Engineering practices on Philips products/parts/services procured from suppliers throughout the product lifecycle, including sustaining change management.Your role:Engineering analysis of product quality defects and problem solving with Suppliers using Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) and Six Sigma Quality Engineering toolsets.Participant in Material Review Board (MRB) and issuing of Supplier Quality Notifications (SQN).Planning and executing Supplier quality performance trending, reporting, improvement, and development activities.Assessing, approving and coordinating the qualification and implementation of Supplier Initiated Change Requests (SICR).Driving Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) development, execution, monitoring, and control as part of sustaining product/process changes.You're the right fit if:US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.Bachelor degree in Engineering.More than 5 years Quality relevant work experience with medical device industry, automotive or other regulated industry experience being preferred.Experience in quality engineering and process/manufacturing engineering.Hands-on production technology experience in one or more of high-level electromechanical assembly, PCBA, plastic injection molding, or metal fabrication/machining.Practical application of statistical methods, quality tools and methodologies (DfSS, CtQ, SPC, APQP, FMEA, MSA/GR&R, Control Plans, etc). Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.Lead quality auditor certification and experience preferred.Working knowledge/experience in industry standard New Product Introduction processes.Effective decision making.Influencing without authority.Dealing with ambiguity.Strong English communication skills.Ability to travel up to 15% of time.About Philips:We are a health technology company. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
