Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

The Senior Cloud Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) partners with customers to design and build scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. They collaborate with AWS Sales and other teams to address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. As a trusted customer advocate, the Solutions Architect helps organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and provides advice on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud. Additionally, they drive successful business outcomes through educating, training, designing, and building cloud solutions for enterprise customers. The role also involves shaping and executing a strategy to build deep adoption and broad use of AWS within enterprise customers, and collaborating with the extensive partner network. Travel is mostly regional, expected to be 15-20% post pandemic. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience and 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience. Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience, as well as knowledge of SAP systems and experience working with end user or developer communities.
