What you need to be successful in this role:

Be certified or able get certified as an ISO-related internal auditor.

React to nonconforming product and customer complaints. Perform containment and work with other departments to determine root cause and corrective action.

Conduct internal/supplier quality system, process and/or product audits, including creating audits finding reports, closing out audit findings, and determining proper corrective and preventive actions.

Lead designated customer product through New Product review and release, including establishing production controls, performing risk assessment and manufacturing documents.

Lead designated customer product quality reviews and communicates and resolves issues with the customer

Assist in the analysis of quality costs

Interface with customers on quality related matters, including customer quality audits.

Perform failure analysis and implement corrective/ preventive action to respond to customer complaints

Perform various qualification and/or validation activities as required (may included APQP, IQ/OQ/PQ, PPAP, DOE, etc)

Write manufacturing and process work instructions.

Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Create incoming inspection procedures, perform failure analysis on raw material failures, work with suppliers and supplier corrective actions.

Develop/implement/conduct training to new and existing policy and procedure and build quality awareness

Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure through supplier corrective and preventive actions.
