VTS Role – Fuchs Lab

We are seeking a highly motivated senior research assistant with experience and knowledge in the Fuchs Research Group’s classwide fractions intervention. Job responsibilities include analyzing and coding audio recordings of classroom instruction to rate teachers' fidelity of implementation of fractions intervention sessions; training junior research assistants to accurately code teachers' fidelity of implementation through classroom observations and audio recordings; developing clear and concise communication materials for teachers about upcoming intervention lessons; and updating the research team weekly about teacher implementation. Qualifications include experience and knowledge in the Fuchs Research Group’s classwide fractions intervention, strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and prior experience in education research.
