ResponsibilitiesThe role: QA Test Analyst

As a QA Test Analyst at GUARD, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment working with software developers and business analysts to test and deploy business processes throughout the organization.

You will be a key member of our team that ensures our system is always fast, available and scalable. Your work will be focused to a specific development team with the goal of delivering a quality product that is both stable and reliable.

Responsibilities:

The QA Test Analyst will develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to developers. Create and maintain databases of known defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues. May participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and schedules. Test new programming deployments for EDI updates. Qualifications

3-5 years as a QA Test Analyst or similar role

T-SQL required

Knowledge of IAIABC Claims EDI reporting standards

FROI/SROI reporting experience preferred

IT and/or system programming experience a plus

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, math, finance, statistics, or computer science, strongly preferred. A combination of other certifications/experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
