Sr. Administrative Associate

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Sr. Administrative Associate in Washington DC. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will provide the following support for our Government customer:

As required, serve as backstop FO Office Manager and Staff Assistant, as required.

Assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports, and other documents. Accurately type correspondence, reports, or similar materials from handwritten or electronic drafts using a word processor. Ensure correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and appropriate format in documents prepared by self and others. Thoroughly review correspondence and other work prepared by others for content, correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and appropriate format. On own initiative, return such communications to the originator for correction when not in conformance with known policies or correspondence regulations. Ensure requirements for classified material are accurately followed, where applicable.

Draft replies and routine correspondence and prepare forms.

Assist in scheduling meetings and appointments,

Receive visitors and phone calls. Accurately determine the nature of the request and refers callers to appropriate staff. Personally answer routine and non-technical request for information and provides correct information when routine procedural matters are involved.

Follow up on telephone conversations and take appropriate steps to ensure that necessary action is initiated and subsequently assures that such action is completed as quickly as possible. Follow up and assure proper execution of all commitments made.

Ensure that requests for action or information are made known to responsible Office staff personnel who can satisfy the request. Decide whether important or emergency matters should be brought to the Supervisor's attention when absent, but accessible.

Organize travel and assist in scheduling large meetings and conferences.

Required skills and Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

Secret Clearance

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

Demonstrated ability to work on teams

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationship
