Technical Support Specialist

Location - Hiawatha, IA ( candidate should be local or willing to visit the site everyday , also the interview would be in person ) Pay rate - $29/hour In this role, you will develop and maintain business relationships with specific Client customers. The main objective is to effectively communicate solutions related to proper maintenance of equipment, repairs and management of parts orders to include shipping. You will also make follow up calls to help customers through the maintenance/repair process to reduce downtime. In addition, you will handle assembly of specific equipment and help manage inventory. The Functional Solutions Technical Support Specialist will report to the Functional Solutions Manager. Formula for Success: You Will Have a strong mechanical aptitude Work independently with minimum supervision Work effectively with customers and manager Offer suggestions for continued improvements of equipment and parts inventory management Help develop training and troubleshooting guides for customers Serve as a primary resource to customers to resolve equipment and/or operator related issues Be Customer Focused: Follow-Up with customers after offering solutions to ensure equipment is fully operational Provide customers with updates when needed i.e.; winterization of equipment Have the ability to lift up to 50lbs You Will Also Motivate and challenge yourself to become a high performer Establish and support a safety culture in which all accidents are preventable Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You Strong Mechanical Aptitude Desire to work with Pest Management Products and Innovations Interpersonal competencies appropriate for supporting competitive innovations in a positive, ethical manner with a strong customer focus High School Degree; Associates Degree Preferred.
