Our multi-state law practice client is seeking a

full-time Litigation Paralegal

to be based in and work in our Stamford, CT office. The ideal candidate will be growth-focused and able to work collaboratively and independently with multiple attorneys and other legal staff on the team.

Comp: $80K - $90KWorking model: This role is 5 days onsite with some flexibility to occasionally work remotely.

Specific responsibilities and duties include:Assist in preparing routine pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses.File and serve exhibits, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with the court and other counsel.Contact vendors and others to schedule and coordinate meetings and depositions.Collaborate with various individuals within and outside the firm’s Litigation Department regarding workflow and other issues.Assist with trial and hearing preparation, including creating trial notebooks, maintaining and tracking exhibits, and coordinating witness schedules.Organize and manage case files meticulously, ensuring all documents and materials are properly filed and maintained.Engage with clients to gather information, provide updates, and ensure they clearly understand the status of their matters.Utilize legal software such as iManage for document management.Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific matters.Perform other similar or related duties not specifically included within this position description but which are consistent with the general level of the responsibilities described.Requirements:

Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years of Litigation Paralegal experience is required; experience with both Connecticut and New York practice is strongly preferred.Bachelor’s Degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program are preferred.Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and client service skills.Knowledge of, and experience with, preparation and filing of motions, discovery, pleadings, court rules, practices, and procedures.Familiarity with E-filing procedures in state and federal courts, particularly in Connecticut and New York.Strong attention to detail.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.Perform in a high-level, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.Strong work ethic and self-driven attitude, willing to take initiative and be hands-on.Benefits:
