We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Auditor - Information Technology to join our dynamic Internal Audit team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT auditing, with a focus on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, data analysis, and IT controls. This role requires a professional who can effectively assess and enhance IT systems, processes, and controls to ensure the integrity, reliability, and security of our IT infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:
SOX Compliance:
Perform IT SOX compliance audits, including evaluating the effectiveness of IT controls and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Data Analysis:
Utilize data analysis techniques and tools to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of potential risk within IT systems and processes.Audit Execution:
Plan and execute IT audits, including risk assessments, control testing, and documentation of findings. Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations.Control Assessment:
Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls, including access controls, change management, and system development lifecycle.Collaboration:
Work closely with other audit team members, IT departments, and external auditors to ensure comprehensive coverage and resolution of audit issues.Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies, tools, and techniques to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.Documentation:
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of audit procedures, findings, and recommendations.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.Experience:
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in IT auditing, with a strong understanding of SOX compliance and IT controls.Skills:Proficiency in data analysis and audit software tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, Excel).Knowledge of IT general controls, application controls, and risk management.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Certifications (Preferred):
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or other relevant certifications.Personal Attributes:
