Join the team that is ensuring one person - one identity.ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for oversight and management of one of our production facilities in the west coast region.This role will optimize our value stream for our customers, while ensuring manufacturing excellence.This role leads the plant organization to improve the overall production process, product quality, cost outcomes, and culture.Manage organizational change in a fast-paced environment.Coaching and developing talent are critical to success in this role.In this role, you will ensure our customer demands are met or exceeded by ensuring cost effective and operationally sound manufacturing of our products. Management of major improvement projects such as production equipment installation and maintenance, capital expenditure requests and justification to include follow up and implementation activities.Budgeting and profitable operation.You will lead a team of onsite managers, coaching them to collaborate effectively to reduce costs and optimize production. This role ensures all initiatives and processes are in alignment with company operational excellence strategic objectives.Reporting on plant progress toward safety, production, and general operating objectives as set by organization KPIs and benchmarking.Evaluate capacity and forecast for infrastructure planning.Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.Develop and control profits, plans, budget, and process improvement initiatives.Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, inventory, wages, and salaries.This position has direct responsibility for all service and financial metrics within this network. Responsibilities include analysis of manufacturing plant performance, capacity planning, and production execution.You will be accountable to the overall operational budget and costs. This position will require cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Safety, Finance, and Supply Chain.A highly visible opportunity for the right candidate to position themselves for Leadership role with significant career advancement.QualificationsDevelopment of strategy and short- and long-term improvement plans to include automation and equipment improvements.Demonstrated ability to Lead P&L and results oriented.Experience attaining or maintaining ISO certification.Success in a highly collaborative interdepartmental culture.Demonstrated record of team building, mentoring, and change management.Effective at prioritizing capital expenditures for best returns.Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma).Critical KPI’s are Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People, and Operational Excellence.Ability to manage multiple priorities at any given time.Typically requires BA and 12-15 years.Job SummaryReq ID: 2024-7164Category: Light ManufacturingType: Full-Time RegularWork Schedule: Core Business Hours
