Emerging Technology Analyst
Key Role:
Identifies and assesses specific new and emerging technologies, platforms, and services and their application to specific operational problem sets. Analyzes and recommends improvements to Department of Defense innovation and capability development processes. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, engaging with senior leaders from across the Department of Defense and the S&T community.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working with the Department of Defense science and technology community
- Knowledge of Department of Defense critical technology areas
- Ability to clearly communicate with a diverse audience that includes senior decision makers, policy makers, exercise planners, scientists and technologists, and academics
- TS/SCI clearance
- Masters degree and 3+ years of experience working in a Defense Engineering, Science or Technology field
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Department of Defense, experimentation, exercises, or operational test and evaluation
- Experience working with National Laboratories, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers, or University Research Centers
- Knowledge of DoD experimentation forums and processes
- Doctorate degree in Engineering, Technology, or Science
