Follow @blackstone on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.Job Title:Blackstone Global Fund Finance Open-Ended Funds – Finance – Vice PresidentWork directly with internal and external teams to oversee the preparation and review of the 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, and other recurring SEC filingsEnsure SEC filings include all required disclosuresCollaborate with various teams to prepare accounting policy memos for new transactions and analyze new accounting standards to determine impact on the fundsWork directly with internal and external teams to ensure the financial results are appropriately recorded in the fund’s financial statementsManage relationship and communication with internal and external auditors; oversee SOX controls and documentationCollaborate with teams on preparing Audit Committee materialsResponsible for all required fund regulatory reportingCoordinate with technology teams to improve automation of manual processesAssist with ad hoc analysis and projectsExecute team’s strategic planGenerate creative solutions to improve processesManaging and mentoring junior staffQualifications:BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance is requiredCPA license is required13+ years of public/private accounting experienceExperience with SEC reporting and public companies is requiredExperience with open-ended funds and/or private equity industry is preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to thrive in a team-based environment.Highly organized and proactive.Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.Detail oriented and possess strong work ethic; ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments; strong time management skillsIdeal candidates would have a commitment to excellence in their work product and a desire to learn and grow as a professionalThe duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.  Assignments, duties, and responsibilities may be changed at any time, with or without notice, by Blackstone in its sole discretion.Expected annual base salary range:$155,000 - $225,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
