Applicants must have at least 15 years of experience in scientific consulting and demonstrated capability to develop new business. When you join us, you will provide technical project management and business leadership and will contribute to advanced solutions in protecting worker and community health.At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $117,000 and $144,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.Your new roleAs our new Senior Managing Consultant, you will join our stellar team known as the Health Sciences Spearhead that supports clients all over the world with a wide range of human health and environmental issues. The position is available in our Los Angeles or Irvine, CA office with hybrid working as an option. Ramboll is a recognized leader in health sciences and industrial hygiene consulting. We currently have more than 20 Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIHs) and a network of toxicologists, epidemiologists, engineers, and risk assessment scientists. The successful candidate will manage existing projects, build client relationships, mentor staff, and help grow our industrial hygiene practice in Southern California. While this position is in California, we are a national team, and some travel will be required.We provide a broad range of industrial hygiene services including qualitative and quantitative occupational exposure assessments for industrial clients, indoor environmental quality (IEQ), mold & microbial evaluations, health risk management & communication, expert support, and management of hazardous building materials (lead, asbestos, PCBs). For this role, we are looking for strong skills in a broad range of industrial hygiene rubrics.Your key responsibilities will include:Develop budgets and proposalsEffectively manage projects in all aspects: client communication, project staffing, budget tracking, technical work oversight, and QA/QC of all written deliverablesBuild client relationshipsIdentify and pursue new business opportunitiesYour new teamAs part of the Health Sciences team, you will be part of a creative group, filled with people who are really excited about solving clients’ problems.
