Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing, and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients, and creating and presenting proposals that meet their needs and to help us grow our client base and revenue. You will also work closely with our sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development, in the language services industry. You will also need to have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as a passion for languages and cultures. Job Responsibilities
Business Growth:
Identify and prioritize target markets and industries for business development.
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our client base and revenue streams.
Generate leads through market research, networking, and cold outreach.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Understand client needs and proactively offer tailored language solutions.
Ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
Partnership Development:
Identify and establish partnerships with other organizations, including language service providers, technology companies, and industry associations.
Collaborate with partners to create mutually beneficial business opportunities.
Sales and Negotiation:
Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Negotiate terms and agreements to secure profitable contracts.
Market Analysis:
Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
Provide market insights to drive product and service enhancements.
Reporting and Forecasting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in CRM software.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts for management.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, linguists, and operations, to ensure successful service delivery.
Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align strategies and messaging.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development,
in the language services industry
Knowledge of the language services market, products, and trends
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and at least one other language
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software
Willingness to travel as required
