Right Now.,Smyth Auto Parts is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and experienced Director of Sales to drive business growth through effective sales strategies and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, wholesale/aftermarket operations, and business development within the automotive parts industry. The position is based in Cincinnati, Ohio and covers select markets in Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky.RequirementsEstablish and nurture strong relationships with key customers addressing their needs and fostering long-term loyalty through effective communication and collaboration.Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for service enhancements and process improvements.Able to develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth, focusing on expanding market presence and revenue by using insights from market analysis and customer feedback.Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure sales initiatives and customer satisfaction with effective communication and project management skills.Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics as well as market trends to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.Travel at least 30% to visit store locations, meet with clients, and attend events.Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team.QualificationsBachelor's degree in business management preferred; can be substituted for related experience such as Sales, Marketing, or related field.Proven track record of success in wholesale/aftermarket sales management and business development within the automotive parts industry.Must be a strategic thinker with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, demonstrated through innovative approaches to sales strategy and business development.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction, informed by insights from successful implementations.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and other relevant business tools and technologies.Smyth Automotive offers a competitive salary, along with benefits that include: medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, Life, 401k/match, paid vacations, paid holidays, and generous employee discounts.Please send in your resume for consideration.
