FT / PT General Pediatrician to Join Thriving Northern Virginia Practice

Children's Medical Associates of Northern Virginia is a highly-regarded private practice serving Northern Virginia and the DC Metropolitan Area's infants, children and adolescents since 1964. Our practice is made up of 19 providers including physicians and pediatric nurse practitioners, several of whom are certified lactation consultants. Most practitioners split their time between two offices located in Alexandria and Fairfax, Virginia. Both our offices have full-functioning labs/drawing stations. We thrive to provide our patients with comprehensive care focusing on physical health, mental health and prevention.We are a busy practice, but we aim to maintain work-life balance. Although we have privileges at INOVA Fairfax Hospital for Children and at INOVA Alexandria Hospital, we do not round on patients or newborns in hospitals. Weekday call is about once a week and is with a nurse triage service taking most of the calls. Weekend responsibilities/call is about 9 times annually divided between partial and full weekend duties.
