About the job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security vulnerabilities in source code, experience with automated security tools, and a passion for mentoring and educating developers on security best practices. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure that security is an integral part of our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Vulnerability Assessment:

Conduct in-depth security testing to identify vulnerabilities in source code across a variety of programming languages and frameworks.

Developer Education:

Provide training and guidance to developers on secure coding practices, helping to build a security-conscious culture within the organization.

Automation & Tooling:

Implement and maintain automated security testing tools such as SAST (Static Application Security Testing), DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing), and SCA (Software Composition Analysis) to continuously monitor and improve application security.

Reporting & Documentation:

Develop clear and concise reports on security vulnerabilities, risk assessments, and remediation strategies for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Collaboration:

Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate security testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that security is a continuous and automated process.

Security Best Practices:

Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and proactively implement improvements to our security processes.

Your profile

Experience:

5+ years of experience in security testing, with a strong focus on source code analysis and vulnerability assessment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in automated security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) and a solid understanding of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.

Security Certifications:

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or similar are highly desirable.

Communication:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Team Player:

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
