Our mission is to power prosperity around the world, securely.The Director SBSEG Product Abuse and Fraud Engineering will ensure proper fraud controls are built into every phase of the product design and development process supporting Small Business products. You will drive fraud control education, effectiveness and scalability with Security, Fraud, and Technology Teams by enabling a continuous improvement process and maturity framework which makes it easier for everyone to win together. As an application abuse specialist and senior most fraud expert, you will help Intuit build a holistic roadmap of how to secure its products globally for our small business and self-employed customers now and as we expand into the future.You will lead teams of engineers that support the broad adoption of cybersecurity, fraud prevention and compliance solutions across SBSEG. You will be accountable for building and maintaining a world-class program across the segment within the broader framework of the Intuit Cybersecurity and Fraud Prevention program at Intuit. This role reports to the VP of Technology, SBSEG Cybersecurity & Fraud.Responsibilities

Develop a strategic roadmap to progress fraud features and education for internal and external customers, to be delivered with high velocity and low friction.Foster the change management needed to make everyone responsible and capable of making great product abuse and fraud decisions by becoming part of SBSEG product leadership and partnering with key members of the senior leadership team at Intuit.Lead a team that is a resource to all engineering and product teams in SBSEG to answer questions, educate and help where needed.Work well with the rest of Intuit’s Cybersecurity and Fraud Prevention community so that everyone can take full advantage of onboarding to Intuit’s anti-fraud capabilities.Develop and drive a framework which makes it easy for Product teams to select security solutions or request them as a design partner with Security Service teams.Partner with Intuit’s Governance, Risk and Compliance function to ensure regulatory compliance, timely audits and full adoption of expected controls.Leverage Intuit established patterns and tools for Threat Modeling and SSDLC capabilities to ensure products are implemented with the best security options.Shape Intuit’s cybersecurity and fraud prevention policies, framework, approach, metrics and methods with other members of the Cybersecurity and Fraud Prevention Leadership team.Foster a strong and inclusive engineering culture that develops the technical capabilities of the team. Provide ongoing expectations, feedback and coaching to engineers and others as they navigate their career path.Drive initiatives forward with minimal process while maintaining accountability and commitments. Walk in your team’s shoes and find ways to unlock their productivity and minimize distractions.Participate in product management and strategic leadership processes to further develop the future of Intuit’s platform and offerings.Participate in architectural processes for the various elements of Intuit’s platform and offerings.Minimum Requirements

+10 years demonstrated experience leading a fraud team with deep technical expertise, including leading engineers directly.Experience setting the vision for and driving the change to modern security and fraud prevention practices such as “shift left,” SSDLC pipelines, including open source, and DevSecOps.Outstanding thought leadership, architectural and implementation skills – a thinker and a doer – able to look at information, product security & fraud comprehensively and strategically, and able to translate business strategy into technical vision and strategy.Ability to create a vision and relentlessly drive toward an ideal state in partnership with product management. Adept at articulating the technology vision.Strong orientation toward making decisions that will benefit the organization as a whole, rather than optimizing resources or benefits solely for their own team.Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with deep understanding of how to develop relevant metrics that not only track activity but also quantify the impact of security & fraud initiatives on the financial performance of the business.Strong collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders and driving to alignment on technology direction.Strong technical skills with the ability to review architectures and design. Provide inputs and be the key enabler of the right technical decisions for the product.Passion for technology with hands-on software development experience.Very good understanding of software engineering practices and high velocity agile development.Demonstrated experience leading a team with cross-functional collaboration and global delivery.Strong tendency towards high performance teams and organizations by enabling everyone to be successful.Experience with the Cybersecurity, Risk, and Fraud domains.Experience with technologies: Spark, Kafka, Java, PhP, React, SpringBoot, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines.BS Computer Science preferred.Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $259,000 - $351,500.
