We take pride in delivering responsive, fair and professional service with empathy and efficiency.How you will create an impactAre you interested in handling some of the largest and most complex Casualty claims in the industry? Your deep technical claims expertise will be put to the test in the investigation, evaluation, and disposition of new and existing 3rd party property and casualty claims. These multi-million dollar claims include multi-vehicle auto accidents, plant explosions, class action injury claims, and catastrophic product liability claims. You will be required to review coverage under Excess Commercial General liability and auto policies, participate in the investigation of the claim, and control litigation strategy. The adjuster will be required to direct the litigation, attend mediations and trials, assess liability and damages, and recommend reserves. Excellent customer service skills are necessary for communicating with insureds, brokers, attorneys, and claimants.Determining the scope and extent of available coverage.The investigation, evaluation, and disposition of new and existing 3rd party property and casualty claims.Preparation and execution of investigation strategies which identify critical issues affecting liability, causation, and damages.Clear and concise communication and contact with internal and external customers, including insureds, brokers, and underwriters.Proper documentation of exposure evaluation and resolution strategy.Presentation to senior management of claim disposition recommendations.Obtain the appropriate authority to independently negotiate multi-million dollar claims.Effectively strategize and budget litigation of each claim through discussions with counsel, vendors, and insureds.What you’ll need to succeed5+ years of Commercial/Industry claims experience preferred.Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and strong negotiation skills.Advanced experience and capabilities in litigation claims management.Experience attending and controlling cases at mediations, settlement conferences, etc.Property and Casualty licenses required, must be obtained within 6 months.Motivated individuals who are interested in an upwardly mobile career path.Ready to take your career to the next level?
