New Orleans, LA, Baltimore/Washington D.C.We are seeking a highly skilled Content Strategist to join our team and help us create user-friendly documentation that empowers our customers. This role is pivotal in supporting the development and implementation of our content strategy, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and efficient content creation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical documentation, DITA XML, content management systems, and will demonstrate the ability to lead by influence and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.This position can be based in our Baltimore or New Orleans headquarters. We believe in the power of a good idea no matter where it comes from, using trust as the foundation to how we work, and that self-managed people are our greatest asset.Responsibilities:Support the ongoing development and implementation of our content strategy, including reuse, content modeling, metadata, and workflow.Collaborate on the development of strategies and solutions to align content across teams and business units.Support the development of reuse strategies that enable efficient, consistent leveraging of content.Develop content governance processes to maintain the relevance of published documentation, including cyclical reviews, versioning, releasing, and archiving.Work closely with content operations and development teams to ensure strategy, systems, and tools are synchronized and reflected in deliverables.Integrate style guidelines, best practices, terminology, and technologies into the authoring process to enhance efficiency, simplify writer tasks, and improve consistency.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical communications and content strategy.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communications, or related field with 5+ years' experience in the field of technical communications.Solid understanding of reuse strategiesHighly skilled in DITA XML structuresProficiency with enterprise-level component content management systems (Tridion Docs preferred)Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workFamiliar with industry standards and best practicesDemonstrated ability to work effectively with peers to lead by influenceAdept at collaborating with system owners, enterprise architects, and project teams to develop solutions and manage projects from idea to implementationAble to work a hybrid schedule: two days in office/three days remote
