The Custody Product organisation is recruiting for a Custody Ecosystems Product Manager to help drive the Post Trade Settlement Workflow strategy and Artificial Intelligence opportunities as part of the wider Custody Ecosystem/Disruptive Technology remit. The successful candidate will assist with other AI opportunities across Custody Ecosystems efforts including Account Opening, Inquiry Management, Tax, etc. State Street’s Custody Product organisation is undergoing an exciting period of transformation and requires an experienced product manager with good subject matter expertise, client lens & industry presence to join the team.Function
As a Custody Ecosystems Product Manager, you will be part of a small team responsible for leading the engagement with the responsible FinTech(s) and the STT AI Tech partners. FinTechs have been disrupting the Custody landscape in recent years, and State Street is well positioned to take a considered approach having had the opportunity to see the landscape unfold.Responsibilities
Building strong relationships with:FinTechs at all levels from CEO/Founder through to Client Engagement/SupportThe STT AI Tech organisationGlobal DeliveryUnderstanding the opportunities that AI can bring to STT Operations to improve efficiency and user experience (both internally & externally)Helping shape the development strategy of FinTechs and STT AI to meet the needs of GD and ClientsDriving adoption of the development & platforms (internally & externally) whilst demonstrating benefit, measuring success and influencing changeParticipation at industry events including roundtable and speaker opportunitiesBeing a champion of change & challenging the status-quo to drive internal & external benefitIdentifying other FinTechs that can bring value to STT Custody and our ClientsDeveloping business cases to assess value; and drive senior buy-in for those that make senseWorking with Procurement, Legal & TPRM on all aspects of the engagement as requiredSkills
Excellent programme management skillsStrong PowerPoint skillsDetail oriented – problem solverIntellectually curiousIndependent, self-motivated and a team player with strong influencing skillsPositive, can-do approach and champion of changeEffective communicator at senior levels both internally & externallyComfortable working in a demanding delivery focused environmentExperience
