POSITION TYPE

This is a hybrid position and is eligible for telecommuting up to four (4) days a week.The Deputy Executive Director's Office is seeking a

TEF Program Analyst

who has a desire to work in the utility regulatory industry, with a strong initiative, and would like to expand their knowledge, skills and experience performing advanced to highly advanced policy analysis and policy and procedure development associated with the Texas Energy Fund. Work involves planning projects, conducting program and legislative analysis, developing, drafting, and implementing policies and procedures for the Texas Energy Fund. Work requires extensive contact with internal and external stakeholders, including Commission attorneys, engineering and regulatory staff, industry representatives, the Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company, and other professional staff.Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following required minimum qualifications:Management Analyst III

Undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college university and two (2) years of full-time professional experience in a position involving the management of state or federal grants or loans including one (1) year of policy analysis and development.Management Analyst IV

Undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college university and four (4) years of full-time professional experience in a position involving the management of state or federal grants or loans including two (2) years of policy analysis and development.Preferred Qualifications:

Undergraduate or graduate degree in finance or business.Experience conducting audits on policy and procedures to ensure compliance with both federal and state laws.Work experience in the Texas electric utility industry.VETERAN'S PREFERENCE
