The client seeks to hire a Data Analyst resource to provide data analysis, Business Objects Management & optimization, and agency data dashboard configuration, development and maintenance. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years overall in Data Analyst experience.The role of the Data Analyst is to provide data analysis support for the client, which is located within the Office of the Chief of Staff. This is a highly skilled position and familiarity with data reporting, visualization and sharing, is critical.The position will require the resource to produce data analysis, with a focus on driver, vehicle, and customer transaction data sets, and to produce dashboards and data sets that allow leadership to communicate agency performance trends to stakeholders, and the public. The Data Analyst shall have knowledge and expertise with MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Business Objects. The role will involve working closely across multiple administrations within client, and closely work with the Data Management Team. The Data Analyst should possess extremely strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to address both business and technical audiences.Duties:

Analyzes information and statistical data to prepare reports and studies for use by professionals.Creates charts and graphics to present statistical analysis in an easily digestible format for a non-technical audience.Creates public-facing written reports to present analytic findings to the public in accessible language.Plans, organizes, and conducts research focused on driver, vehicle, and customer transaction-related topics.Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:

Master’s degree in Data Analytics or related field, or equivalent experience.Experience of working with business stakeholders to support their data needs.Experience presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.Experience working with government agency performance-related data preferred.Responsibilities:

Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.Plans, organizes, and conducts research in a variety of areas, such as new or existing products, science, social science, law, or business in support of an IT initiative.Searches sources such as reference works, literature, documents, newspapers, statistical records, and other sources of information. May use Internet, Intranet, magazines, periodicals, journals, and other media to perform research.Analyzes information and statistical data to prepare reports and studies for use by professionals.Skills:

Experience analyzing info and statistical data to prepare reports and studies for professional users - Required: 6 YearsExperience working with government agency performance data - Required: 6 YearsMicroStrategy, Business Objects, Tableau (or similar platforms) - Required: 6 YearsStrong communication skills - must be able to communicate (written/oral) complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including public - Required: 6 YearsExperience planning, organizing, and conducting research in various areas - Required: 6 YearsAs SME in complex enterprise level projects - Required: 6 YearsMaster’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
