The Relief Sales Representative’s primary responsibility is to assist the Director of Sales and Salesmen Manager in fulfilling daily obligations of the sales division. The Relief Sales Representative primary responsibilities will include filling in for sales representatives in their absence across all three Western Wyoming Beverages locations (Rock Springs, Evanston, and Jackson), covering routes in between sales representatives’ vacancies across all three locations, and assisting the sales team with POS/POCM management. The relief salesman will routinely help merchandise large format stores during down time and in between staff vacations. As a relief sales representative this position is responsible for sales, stocking, product rotation, and marketing execution performance indicators based on the direction of the Business Development Representative and Soda Sales Director. The Salesman will actively sell in parent company and local programs along with incremental displays, racks and pallets. The position is responsible for aggressively selling in WWB products, promotions and programs at trade, gaining space, monitoring and managing inventory and code dates, and fulfilling program mandates. Ideally, this candidate will be trained to and move into a full-time sales role within 6-18 months. The position requires regular and repetitive lifting of products weighing up to 75 pounds and frequent use of pallet jacks to move products within a store. This position requires a highly dependable self-motivated person. The ideal candidate will have strong customer relationship skills along with the ability to communicate with their supervisor. The candidate must possess a driver’s license.As a Relief Sales Representative at WWB, you are responsible for:Understanding and implementing changing priorities across both beer and soda divisions.Understanding sales route across beer and soda divisions.Positively influencing the growth and development of sales and market share within the assigned route.Establishing and maintaining good business relations with customers and store/chain managers.Maintaining and managing existing space while aggressively pursuing promotional space and permanent space within account base.Ensuring proper rotation and inventory management as the account owner, taking responsibility for your actions and the drivers' actions.Qualifications:Required:Must be detail-oriented, organized, and professional.Self-starter with ability to work independently with results-driven focus on program objectives.Aggressive mindset that encourages growth versus status quo.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Must have a clean driving record.Preferred:Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Management or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.Sales experience with a record of growing sales.Beverage industry knowledge.Financially literate, with the ability to understand revenue and expenses and how that knowledge is used to enhance profitability.About Western Wyoming Beverages:Western Wyoming Beverages is a family-owned and operated company operating in Southwest Wyoming.
