Manager of Corporate and Foundation Grants

is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing funding from corporate partners and foundations to support organizational initiatives. This role involves managing the full grant lifecycle, including proposal development, submission, and reporting. The Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to align grant opportunities with the organization’s strategic priorities and ensure compliance with grant requirements. Additionally, this position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with donors and grant-making entities to foster long-term relationships.The Manager of Corporate and Foundation Grants will supervise, coach, and develop a talented team of Development Associates who oversee all aspects of the grant writing process. This position reports directly to the Director of Institutional Advancement.Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human services, writing, or marketing required; Master's degree preferred.At least three years of grant writing experience required.At least three years of supervisory experience required.Experience with the full grantmaking process, including a proven track record of successfully generating commitments from corporations and foundations preferred.Knowledge and understanding of cultivation, solicitation, stewardship strategies and techniques, particularly in the area of corporate and foundation fundraising preferred.Understanding of budgets as they relate to proposals and grants preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office required; experience with Raiser's Edge software preferred.Job Details

Compensation:

Range starts at $68,000; offer is commensurate with experience.Benefits:

Must be within reasonable driving distance to Chicago and available to work from home office at 200 West Monroe Street (downtown Chicago loop) 2x/week.Schedule:

Full-time, salaried; regular business hours with some flexibility required for evening and or weekend fundraising events.
