Job Summary:ASUS North America is looking for a creative, committed, and results-focused PR specialist. They must be comfortable dealing with ASUS's broad portfolio of PC-centric hardware. There is a specific interest in experience and familiarity with networking, server, and workstation products and their respective ecosystems alongside traditional core components.The candidate should have good writing and editing experience, a proficient command of English, and competency in office-type applications, web tools/platforms, and social platform familiarity. Experience in corporate communications & press relations, community management, social media, and project management are valued. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining broad media and KOL relationships to increase product exposure for ASUS’s product portfolio across a range of platforms (social media, community (forums/Reddits), YouTube, websites, podcasts, etc.). Additionally, the role involves facilitating and supporting the review and exposure of ASUS component products, as well as critical areas such as product design feedback, community engagement, event support, technical presentations, and more.PR specialists will also closely collaborate and support the ASUS product marketing team and ASUS product management team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Job includes but is not limited to:Create, edit, and localize press releases and product notices for media and KOL.Facilitate and support technical reviews of products and general product exposure across various platforms.Oversee PR inventory: Coordinate inventory and samples for media review, including tracking shipments (both inbound and outbound), and organize the sampling inventory while working closely with the respective team on logistics and proof of execution.Assist the social media team and community team on engagement strategy and messaging.Maintain a broad understanding of industry trends, use cases, and continuously perform competitive analysis. Provide feedback and recommendations from media, KOL, and the community to our PM and product development team.Assist in communicating messaging strategies in coordination with top management and product marketing.Event support – Such as CES or industry tradeshows or ASUS-centric outward or private-facing events.On-screen hosting or presentation support – Livestream/podcast/YouTube/IG/TikTok live.Product testing – Early product evaluation, feedback, and testing and updating of product for product review.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Marketing, Business, Computer/Tech related).2 to 3+ years’ experience in public relations or a similar field.Strong writing and editing skills.Working knowledge of MS Office and basic web platforms or image/video editors.Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.Solid experience with social media platforms and websites (YouTube, Websites, Instagram, TikTok).Strong organizational and planning abilities.Strong understanding of server/workstation/networking hardware is a plus alongside core PC components.Travel Requirement:• Up to 20% domestic travel to events, tradeshows, and PR or ASUS-centric functions.Working Conditions:• Office Only: Typically works in an office environment. Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.$70,000 - $100,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in the Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
