The Cultivation Associate is responsible for general plant care through the entire life cycle. Monitors and cares for plants daily as they progress from clone transplant until harvest.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs cannabis cultivation tasks including transplanting, plant feeding, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliar feeding, preventive spraying, waste disposal, crop inspection, and harvest preparationMonitors and records environmental factors including humidity, temperature, and CO2 levelsMonitors plants for pests and pathogensMixes nutrient solutions for plant feeding and records associated dataPerforms water, media, solution sampling, and testingMaintains daily activity records and operations logs for all activitiesMaintains a clean and sanitized workspace by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing work areasOther duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educationMust possess or obtain a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee BadgeStrong communication skillsBasic organizational and time management skillsBasic mathematical skillsMetric and standard measurement knowledgePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of METRC and Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) compliance regulations related to cannabis cultivationKnowledge of cannabis cultivation nutrient requirements, planting mediums, lighting requirements, environmental requirements, soil growing methods, watering, container systems, hydroponics, temperature and humidity requirements, and drip irrigationKnowledge of beneficial and detrimental bacteria, plant diseases, insects, fungi, and related methods to manage cultivationPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Sitting and/or standing for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbsAbility to sit, stand, stoop, stretch, walk, bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive motions, and carry boxes or itemsAbility to safely use and store chemicals including pesticides, fungicides, cleaning agents, and nutrient concentrates following manufacturer’s recommendations and/or SOPsCOMPENSATION DETAILS:Pay: $18.50-$18.90;
