in the lives of our Team Members, Clients, Shareholders, Communities, and the People who provide services to us.Who we are looking for:The Director, CRA will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering all aspects of the bank's Community Reinvestment Act Program. Reporting to the Managing Director, Fair Lending and Responsible Banking, this position will help ensure the bank's compliance with CRA regulations and maintaining the bank's CRA rating by helping to develop and maintain appropriate CRA programs in low and moderate-income (LMI) markets and providing effective monitoring and reporting of CRA activities. This position will be appointed and serve as the CRA Officer.The preference is for this position to be in Houston or Plano. Remote may be considered for the right qualified candidate.What you'll do:Support the development and implementation of the bank's CRA strategy and programManage CRA Program for the BankMaintain Program policies and procedures; identify ways to enhance CRA ProgramMonitor and report on CRA activities to help ensure compliance with CRA regulationsServe as subject matter expert of CRA initiatives and related regulatory requirementsSupport interface with auditors and regulators, providing CRA Program information, as requestedLead CRA Committee material preparation and actively participate in committee meetingsLead completion of annual CRA Risk AssessmentEnsure CRA analysis is performed annually; leverage results to develop annual planConduct periodic reviews and develop associated reportingWork with CRA Market Representatives from each Assessment Area to ensure appropriate Community Development Lending, Investment and Service goals are metPrepare and submit CRA public file and performance evaluationsWork with the business to help identify and pursue lending and investment opportunities within LMI marketsWork closely with community-based organizations to develop partnerships and initiativesIdentify and advise on CRA training needs across the organization; train Bank staff on CRA objectives and strategiesChampion CRA initiatives across the organizationRepresent the Bank at community events and public meetingsStay updated on changes in CRA regulations and best practicesMentor and develop team membersWhat you'll need to be successful:Success in this job relies on your time management skills, organization, and positive attitude. In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 8 years of experience in banking or financial services5+ years of experience leading and managing a teamMinimum of 3 years of experience managing a "Large Bank" CRA programMinimum of 3 years of experience with a large HMDA reporter (more than 25,000 LAR lines)Strong understanding of CRA regulations and compliance requirementsStrong analytical skills to interpret and analyze dataExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with key business contacts and community organizationsExperience in community development lending and investing is a plusRiskExec experience preferredWhat we offer:Because we recognize and reward hard work, we offer a competitive salary, a full benefits package, and the potential for a performance-based bonus.What to do next:
