Responsible for managing the orthodontic needs of patients including all orthopedic/pre-surgical appliances, infant appliances and orthognathic surgery cases.Completes examination of oral anomalies and dental malocclusions and develops treatment plans.Serves patients including yet not limited to those with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial anomalies.Contributes to the development and operations of the pediatric dental residency program, operations of the Dental Center and Cleft Lip and Palate Program.Education

Doctorate degree in Dentistry and Master’s degree or the completion of an ADA accredited graduate or residency program in orthodontics and associated certificate.Advanced training in craniofacial orthodontics (fellowship or equivalent), with emphasis on comprehensive orthodontics, management of clefting disorders and all malocclusions associated with hyper and hypoplasias of the jaws and facial bones.Licensure, Registration and/or Certification

Dentist license issued by the state of Wisconsin.PALS certification required.Experience

Experience in teaching and/or research in an academic setting.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
