Maccabi Sports Camp is an overnight specialty camp with programs in soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, volleyball and swim, for children entering grades 3-11. Our sessions combine high-level specialized sports instruction with the fun, friendship, and community of a traditional overnight camp. Are you looking for a new and exciting adventure and have the willingness to take on all levels of task and responsibility? If so, this might be the role for you! Maccabi Sports Camp, an overnight summer camp located in the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking an experienced Jewish camp professional with a passion for youth sports to serve as Assistant Director. As a member of a small year-round staff, you will be a thoughtful and creative leader as well as a key player of a hard-working team.This position will be based in Palo Alto from August-May. Camp is located on the campus of Cal State University East Bay, a public University in Hayward, CA, approximately 30 miles east of San Francisco. As the Assistant Director, you should expect to travel regularly as a representative of the camp, including regional and national JCC events, professional development conferences, and recruiting trips for both staff and campers. Travel will be on weekdays and weekends.
