Interim Part-time Music Director

We are in search of a full-time Associate Pastor of Worship. During the interim period we are looking for someone who can serve approximately 15 hours a week. This time would be spent doing the following:Working with the pastor to select music for the Sunday morning congregational worship service.Organizing the needed music and other resources in preparation for rehearsal and worship.Rehearsing with instrumentalists (piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, cello, flute) in preparation for Sunday. This rehearsal would most likely occur on an evening during the week.Lead the Sunday morning worship music in one service starting at 10:30 am.Coordinate technology for use during the worship gathering (ProPresenter, Apple products).The music director would need to be on campus from 8:00 am to approximately 12:30 pm on Sundays with the remainder of working hours being fulfilled during the week.Position Qualifications:

Clear understanding of the gospel and a verifiable salvation testimony with demonstrable outward fruitfulness.Musical competency including, but not limited to, reading music, playing an instrument, and an ability to sing.Experience or training in leading congregational worship.Desire to learn practical skills in a local church setting under the oversight of the senior pastor.Must provide spiritual and character references and submit to a background check.Application Deadline
