JOB SUMMARY:

A

Registered Nurse (RN)

working in our

Skilled Nursing

facility will provide day to day nursing care and ensure the safety of our residents while working to maximize their quality of life. This position will assist in the supervision of other healthcare workers including CNA's, CMA's and LPN's.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide primary care to residents with varying backgrounds and medical historiesObtain and administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing techniquesEnsure residents’ chart is currentAssess resident for change of conditionAssist with new resident admission processKeep residents’ family and physician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, or conditions of healthCommunicate needs of resident to outside providers including but not limited to: Primary Care Provider, Home Health Agency, Pharmacy, etc.Complete incident and accident investigation in collaboration with other clinical personnel.Other Duties as AssignedREQUIREMENTS:
