This role will be responsible for ensuring flawless event execution, managing audiovisual setups, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. This role requires technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of event operations efficiently. This position can be located in our Washington, DC or Richmond, VA office and is 5 days on-site.Responsibilities

Event Setup & Operation:

Ensure flawless execution of events through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual equipment. Assist the Audio-Visual Manager with setup and support for various live streaming platforms and AV systems at CoStar event venues. Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise during events.Customer Service & Communication:

Provide excellent service, striving to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers. Maintain positive relationships with all staff and stakeholders through effective communication. Collaborate with internal teams on event solutions, both pre-event and during the event, to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.Equipment Management:

Assist the team with proper security, storage, inventory, transportation, and maintenance of equipment. Perform inventory checks and forecast equipment needs for upcoming events.Venue & Vendor Management:

Manage venues, suppliers, and external stakeholders on all aspects of event operations. Uphold brand standards at all events, ensuring consistency and quality. Manage budget costs pre and post-event, ensuring all items are cost-effective and within budget.Special Projects:

Lead and manage special projects as assigned, ensuring successful completion within scope, time, and budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, monitor progress, and implement solutions as needed. Help manage the Video Wall in the enterprise.Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or collegeA track record of commitment to prior employers2+ years of experience in event planning, project management, or a similar role.Strong technical proficiency with audiovisual equipment and live streaming platforms.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle technical issues under pressure.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective solutions.Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.Preferred Qualifications And Skills

Experience in managing large-scale corporate events.Familiarity with industry-standard AV systems and technology.Travel
