Accounts Payable Receivable ClerkJob DescriptionThe Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk performs a variety of general accounting and clerical support tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable/receivable. They compile and maintain verified accounts payable records, reconcile statements, and issue payments to vendors.The ideal candidate has dealership experience and at least one year in a position of similar responsibility, along with knowledge of accounts payable/receivable and general accounting procedures. They must be detail-oriented, good with numbers, and proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).ResponsibilitiesReceives, reconciles, and processes vendor invoicesPrepares customer invoices and credit batchesReconciliation of daily cash depositsPrepares accounts payable checks and posts all open items in accounts payable dailyReconciles statement and ledger and ensures payments are consistent with set schedulesMaintains petty cash systemsMaintains updated files for accounts receivable and payableEnsures that all accounting transactions comply with financial policies and proceduresProvides administrative assistance as neededAttends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as requiredPerforms other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredProfessional and dependableDealership experience preferredStrong computer and internet skillsHighly organized and detail-orientedAble to deal with confidential information appropriatelyStrong attention to detail and interest in accuracyStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsReynolds and Reynolds experience a plusCompensationCompetitive Pay Based on ExperienceMedical BenefitsPaid VacationHolidaysProfessional WorkplaceNon-Smoking WorkplaceDrug-Free WorkplaceOpportunity for AdvancementDirect Deposit401(k) with Company MatchVictory Automotive Group
