A law firm in San Jose, CA, is seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney with 0-3 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing expert legal representation in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and domestic violence. This role involves leading cases, mentoring junior attorneys, and working in an environment with comprehensive benefits surpassing industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Conduct consultations with potential clients to assess their legal needs and secure their representation.Provide expert legal advice on a range of family law issues, including divorce, child custody, domestic violence, and property division.Represent clients as the lead attorney (1st chair) in court proceedings, including mediations and depositions.Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and court orders.Develop and implement effective case strategies that align with clients' goals and best interests.Negotiate settlements and manage disputes in both contested and uncontested family law cases.Mentor and train junior attorneys and staff, fostering their professional development and growth.Stay updated with Colorado family law statutes and regulations to ensure accurate and effective representation.Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and compassionate support.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed and in good standing with the Colorado State Bar.0-3 years of experience in family law, focusing on divorce, child custody, and domestic violence cases.Expertise in Colorado Family Law statutes (preferred).Skills:Proven ability to lead cases as the 1st chair, including managing court proceedings and negotiations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to handle a diverse caseload while maintaining attention to detail and organization.Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills to support junior team members.Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals.Compassion and a genuine commitment to assisting clients through challenging situations.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in managing complex family law cases and using alternative dispute resolution methods.Strong negotiation skills and experience in handling high-conflict cases.Location:
