The Richard L. Duchossios Foundation (RLDF) was founded in 2022 and launched formal operation in 2024. The Foundation is committed to addressing seemingly intractable social problems with imagination and passion. We strive to improve the lives of families and veterans, and to cultivate entrepreneurs through data-driven and collaborative approaches to funding. Position Overview
The Richard L. Duchossois Foundation (RLDF) seeks a Director of Data Strategies & Insights who will be responsible for leading RLDF’s organizational data efforts to drive its mission. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and leader who possesses strong data strategy, management, and analysis skills. This position provides an opportunity to define a visionary data agenda that will influence decision making for RLDF’s philanthropy for the next decade.The successful candidate will be excited about: designing an organizational data strategy which includes the collection of public and private data sets; complex data analysis as a means to inform decision making and continuous improvement; leading-edge philanthropy evaluation practices; and advancing social change related to our philanthropic focus areas. The Director is expected to collaborate with RLDF’s grantmaking team in a mutually supportive, ongoing two-way partnership.The Director will set a proactive data agenda that fuels RLDF as a knowledge leader in the field of philanthropy. This agenda will allow RLDF to draw upon its data to elevate its own understanding, create dialogue on issues to advance funding change, and evolve practice in the field locally and nationally.
Salary Range:$175,000
