Marmon is now seeking a highly skilled Project Manager

to support leverage spend activities within our Strategy & Continuous Improvement team. This newly created role will be responsible for creating, managing, and internally marketing the new "Marmon Marketplace." Additionally, this highly visible role will lead various supply chain projects, gather data & deliver relevant analytics, organize leverage spend contracts, and manage Marmon's SpendHQ system.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Marmon MarketplaceSupport, upgrade, and monitor the Marmon Marketplace (Marmon’s leverage spend website) to promote its value and drive enterprise-wide participation in leverage spend programsCollaborate with Marmon program owners and suppliers to create compelling content for the Marketplace; partner with other Marmon functional departments to continually identify and add new suppliersDevelop and execute internal marketing campaigns to promote the value of the Marketplace platformMeasure and report category commerce associated with the MarketplaceStay updated on supplier benefits, programs, and best practices to ensure strategies remain effective and competitiveOptimize product titles, descriptions, and images to improve search rankingsDevelop and execute strategies to drive traffic to the MarketplaceEnsure a seamless and positive user experience from browsing to post-purchaseManage inquiries, reviews, and feedback to maintain high satisfaction levelsProject ManagementLead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation to closure, ensuring all project goals are achieved according to specified timelines and budgetsDevelop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, resource allocation, and timelinesCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projectsCommunicate project status updates to stakeholders, including senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment on project expectations and outcomesFoster a collaborative and productive team environment by providing leadership and guidance to project SME team membersAnalytics and OrganizationDevelop tools to enhance Marmon’s supply chain analyticsManage and further develop the use of SpendHQ (contract administration, spend compliance with leverage programs, training, identification of additional opportunities, etc.)Build reports, develop KPIs, and create performance dashboardsManage contracts within Marmon’s MPact and SpendHQ systemsDevelop and deliver monthly benefit reportsCollaborate with internal departments to create/refine reporting and data tracking processes and organization for shared files/dataWHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field of study5+ years of project management experiencePrevious experience in a marketing, business analyst, and/or supply chain roleStrong analytical reasoning skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize projectsAbility to extract meaningful information from data and suggest action for improvement based on data insightsExpert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong proficiency in other Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent interpersonal communication and organizational skillsSense of ownership and pride in personal performance and its impact on the Company’s successSuperior critical thinking skills with the ability to create effective and timely solutionsExcellent time management skillsFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
