The licensed psychologist will work within their scope of practice, with training, experience, or expertise in diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or behavioral health services. The diagnostician will be responsible for independently providing diagnostic and developmental assessments.Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct autism spectrum disorder or psychological assessments, analyze and interpret data, and write evaluation reportsProvide feedback to clients / families after evaluationsCommunicate with team members during and after the evaluation process, as necessaryProvide written orders for applied behavior analysis treatment and/or other behavioral health services, as necessaryFollow all state and federal regulatory guidelinesOther duties as assignedBe goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your workFollow the policies and procedures of Ascend Autism GroupQualifications:

Licensed psychologistTwo years’ experience with at least one year's experience conducting ASD evaluationsExperience administering various standardized diagnostic tools (e.g. ADOS-2, CARS, Vineland)Must hold applicable state licensureExperience with Microsoft OfficeExtensive knowledge of DSM-5Excellent report writing skillsAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate with families, schools, and ASD service providersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent administrative skillsPhysical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and sitting.Must be able to lift to 45 pounds at a time.Must be able to sit and stand on the floor throughout the day, and bend, kneel, or squat to be at eye level with clients.Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
