St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Laconia, NH , is a 51-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing Services (DNS) to join our nursing management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long – term and skilled care, nursing leadership, a commitment to high-quality care, and a passion for serving our residents.

Key Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department to ensure high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that promote optimal resident outcomes and satisfaction.Manage and mentor nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.Coordinate resident care plans, working closely with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals.Monitor and ensure the accuracy of resident records and documentation.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for nursing staff.Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and service delivery.Serve as a liaison between the nursing staff and other departments within the residence.Participate in budget planning and resource allocation to maintain efficient and effective nursing operations.If you are a dedicated nursing professional with a passion for leadership and a commitment to providing exceptional care, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.RequirementsValid RN license in the state of New Hampshire.Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in Long Term Care.Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree preferred.Strong knowledge of nursing practices, long term healthcare regulations, and quality improvement principles.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin, marital or familial status, age or mental or physical handicap.
