We are seeking a Senior Linux System Administrator with experience in KVM, CentOS, and SAN. This position will be part of the NASA Security Operations Center and US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a Secret clearance. Responsibilities:

Responsible for Linux infrastructures and Storage Area Network environments. Provide Tier 2 systems support, supporting project initiatives in continuous service improvement, and the performance of routine system administration tasks and system maintenance activities. Responsible for crucial infrastructure services including Storage Area Networks, Web Hosting, System Monitoring, and system administration for multiple Linux servers. Provide all aspects of system administration, operations, and application support for services supported for the customer. Cover the design, implementation, operations, and decommissioning phases of applications and hardware for these services. Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of configuration management database. Requirements:

Knowledge of Linux (CentOS/Ubuntu), Apache, and KVM required. Knowledge of Storage Area Networks. Experience installing and configuring servers, diagnosing and repairing hardware issues (i.e. NIC drivers with the vendor), enhancing and extending monitoring capabilities with third-party monitoring tools such as IPmonitor, Nagios, etc. Ability to configure infrastructure components, configuring log file management with auditing capabilities. Ability to develop, produce, and maintain system and data center documentation, including adherence to defined change management processes and procedures. Will be required to be on rotation to provide manned coverage of data center operations areas. Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued Secret clearance. VMware and ESX Hypervisors would be a plus. NASA systems administration experience would be a plus. Education and Experience:
