We are looking to add highly motivated skilled engineers to our team to help us scale and take our proven system to new heights.As a Senior Software Engineer joining WHOOP’s Growth team, you will develop our e-commerce platform, developing features that help grow our business and provide a delightful experience for our members. We make data-driven decisions since any change we make can impact our revenue directly. This will require a strong knowledge of backend architecture and API design.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help build and scale services that allow WHOOP to offer memberships and accessories to our membersContribute to backend development: Java, AWS and PostgresInterface with e-commerce platforms: CommerceTools and StripeWork collaboratively in a business growth environment with a product and technical visionConsistently deliver features and code with an iterative approachFacilitate, coordinate, and develop ad hoc experiments to promote growthSupport and up-level engineers in your team and neighboring teams through direct and indirect mentorshipQUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working on large scale software systemsExperience in API design and development (Java preferred)Experience in relational database design and development (SQL)Experience with headless content management systemsExperience with experimentation, data-driven development, and rapid iterationPreferred experience building in the e-commerce domainPositive attitude and ownership mentalityStrong communication skills to work both collaboratively and independentlyFind out more about us:
