Staff Accountant Accounting

Delsys, a mid-sized manufacturing and R&D company in Natick, MA, is looking for an accountant who is a self-starter with operational accounting skills and experience in a small business environment. We are seeking an accountant with 1-5 years of accounting experience in a small business environment.Must be able to reliably commute to our office location in Natick.A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accounting Management, or Business Administration with an Accounting or similar degree program is a requirement.Responsibilities

Manages month-end close processesResponsible for day-to-day accounting including month-end and year-end close, year-end audit, intercompany reconciliation, and financial reportingProvide financial information to the Corporate accountants/CPAsIdentify and implement improvements on internal controls, procedures, and forms around the month-end close processPlay a key role in annual year-end audit; Prepare audit schedules and reconciliations as requiredPrepare sales/use tax returns for monthly, quarterly, and annual filingsPerform other financial analysis and reporting as needed
