About the Role:This individual is responsible for partnering with the retailer and internal cross-functional teams to deliver and exceed OLAPLEX’s sales objectives. The Director will help develop and drive channel strategy by optimizing brand representation at all touch points to maximize sell-in & sell-out and drive initiatives to increase channel profitability. This role will work directly with the VP of Sales to develop strategies to achieve sales and budget targets and critical marketing objectives, and it will have one direct report.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional account strategy to promote retail sales and shipment revenue

Identify, build, and manage growth-driving sales initiates, optimizing sell-through by retailer on a quarterly and annual basis

Manage planning and negotiation of in-store, digital, and marketing initiatives while supporting go-to-market plans and overarching brand priorities

Negotiate sales and corresponding inventory plans within designated account(s), in addition to reporting retail and net sales assessments, forecasts, and budget planning

Partner with internal and external teams to meet deadlines and deliverables, identify risks and opportunities, and build contingency plans where necessary

Maintain retailer promotional calendar while providing key analytics, ROI related but not limited to promotional investments

Ensure management and reduction of excess and obsolete inventory in respective accounts

Consistently communicate at an executive level with the Leadership Team on gross shipment status, key trends, and opportunities; proactively identify and address risks and identify effective solves

Support the VP of Sales to develop and execute strategies that are unique by retailer to support the channels business model

Identify and distort strengths of designated account(s) to identify opportunities for growth

Lead, develop, and maintain highly productive relationships with internal and external account stakeholders and business partners to achieve our mutually agreed upon business objectives

Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders

Work closely with VP, US sales to review forecasts for core as well as new product launches

Liaise with planning and retailers on monthly forecast updates highlighting new intel impacting projections

Work closely with Customer Service and Sales Operations to ensure inventory is available, orders are received, processed, and shipped within the designated window

Financial Accountability

Responsible for the achievement of all gross, net, and retail sales plans across each category

Provide up-to-date net shipments, risks, and opportunities on a weekly basis to Executive and Finance teams

Accurately forecast RTV's and provide action plans to mitigate risk

Manage quarterly Opex budget to ensure alignment to plan

Work with cross-functional teams on hindsight sales analytics by key account

About You:

Bachelor’s degree preferred plus a minimum of 8+ years of previous related industry experience

Experience with forecasting gross/net shipments

Strong relationship skills: ability to lead and manage multiple high-level relationships

Should possess exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to build gross-to-net and retail sales plans from the bottom up

Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)

Ability to work under pressure and fluctuating deadlines with a high number of tasks

Must be flexible and adaptive to changing priorities

Our Total Rewards:The annual base pay for this position is$150,000-$180,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
