The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engine repair, maintenance and installs with a passion for boating and a keen eye for detail. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of marine engines and systems. Our expanding network of service yards allows you the opportunity of upward mobility and a clear career path to achieve personal success.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in marine engines and systems.Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on various types of watercrafts, including outboard, inboard, and stern drive engines.Works on complex mechanical repairs and installs; Hamilton water jets, engines by Yanmar, CAT, Volvo Penta, Cummins or FPTFamiliar with working on onboard plumbing systems, hydraulics system installations, troubleshooting and repairs.Knowledge of HVAC is preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in marine mechanics is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Marine Mechanic.Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various marine engines and systems.Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, hydraulics, and fuel systems.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.Ability to install complete mechanical systemsDrive and desire to meet or beat schedule and budget for project with no rework.The ability to write condition reports on boats, prepare actual estimates and plan projects through to completion is vital.Work independently to complete projects and may lead a small work team to complete projects.
