Exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated designer to lead the team. You will be responsible for creating designs from concept through to finished product. Must have experience designing your own graphics and prints.Responsibilities:Work with the team and coordinate the design process from concept to execution.Identify upcoming trends and create innovative and on-trend concepts for Children’s wear including playwear, layette, and newborn.Design initial graphics, prints, and color direction across all brands.Translate your ideas using CAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.Prepare product specs that meet design and costing budgets.Create and present art trends and concepts to cross-functional teams.Research emerging trends via trend services, trade shows, shopping, and social media.Adhere to a design schedule that ensures programs follow the development calendar.Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute market strategies for each season.Collaborate with production to confirm assortment detail and pricing targets.Follow through the approval process, ensuring coordination among different fabrics, trims, and product categories with production.Maintain and meet all deadline demands.Requirements:BA Degree in Fashion or Business.5+ years of experience in designing children’s, layette, playwear, and newborn apparel products.Detail-oriented with a keen eye for trends.Graphic design and CAD design skills.Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
