We are looking for collaborative scientists, engineers, and program managers for a variety of roles.The Amazon Robotics software team is seeking an experienced and senior Applied Scientist to focus on computer vision machine learning models. This includes building multi-viewpoint and time-series computer vision systems, as well as large-scale models using data from many different tasks and scenes. This work spans from basic research such as cross-domain training to experimenting on prototypes in the lab, and running wide-scale A/B tests on robots in our facilities.Key job responsibilities

PhD in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent quantitative field5+ years of industry or academic research experienceExperience in building machine learning models for business applicationsExperience programming in Java, C++, Python, or a related language5+ years of industry or academic research experience in applied research and development in computer vision and machine learning modelsPreferred Qualifications

PhD and 7+ years of post-PhD industry or academic applied research experience in computer vision and machine learning modelsProven ability to innovate and develop robust and scalable solutions to complex robotics problemsExperience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journalsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $150,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
