Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Support Desk Technician - Part Time to join our team, providing on-site support for BradyPLUS companies in Arizona. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and escalating ERP tickets, documenting processes and procedures, and delivering technical support across multiple sites. This position requires advanced technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and Escalate ERP Tickets:Provide on-site first-level support for ERP system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ERP software, including but not limited to user access, system errors, and data integrity issues.Collaborate with end-users to gather detailed information about issues and deliver effective solutions promptly.Identify and escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support teams or external vendors.Coordinate with ERP administrators and developers to facilitate the resolution of escalated tickets.Track and document the progress of escalated issues to ensure timely resolution and communicate updates to end-users.Collaborate with National IT Service Desk Team:

Work closely with the national IT service desk team to ensure consistent and effective support across all locations.Share insights and best practices with the national team to improve overall service delivery.Participate in regular meetings with the national IT service desk team to discuss ongoing issues and collaborative solutions.Escalate Items to Infrastructure Groups:

Identify infrastructure-related issues that require escalation to specialized teams.Coordinate with network, server, and infrastructure teams to resolve escalated issues.Ensure detailed documentation is provided to infrastructure groups to facilitate efficient problem resolution.Document Processes and Procedures:

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes and procedures, ensuring clarity and accuracy.Create user guides, FAQs, and training materials for common IT tasks and ERP functionalities.Regularly review and update documentation to reflect changes in systems and processes.Provide Technical Support:

Assist with general IT support requests, including hardware setup, software installation, and network troubleshooting.Configure and deploy workstations, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices for new and existing users.Perform regular maintenance and updates on IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with team members, end-users, and stakeholders to understand and address technical issues.Collaborate with IT team members across BradyPLUSto share knowledge and best practices.Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, support activities, and system improvements.Technical Qualifications:

Proven experience in IT support, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.Strong understanding of ERP systems and troubleshooting methodologies.Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and access control.Knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.Familiarity with IT security best practices and tools, including antivirus software and firewalls.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting ERP systems in a multi-company environment.Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL).Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their integration with on-premises infrastructure.Working Conditions:

Part-time position with a requirement for on-site support at various company locations in Arizona.Must be able to provide own transportation for on-site visits and support.Flexible working hours to accommodate urgent support needs and scheduled maintenance.
