The Intellectual Property Attorney will collaborate closely with partners and senior associates, focusing on patent and trademark issues. The role requires significant experience in Patent and Trademark Litigation and a strong background in engineering or computer science.Duties:
Work closely with partners and senior associates on patent and trademark issues.Handle patent and trademark litigation and dispute resolution matters.Conduct legal research and analysis related to intellectual property laws.Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.Requirements:
Admitted to the Patent Bar is preferred.8-12 years of patent and trademark litigation and dispute resolution experience in a law firm setting.Strong litigation skills with the ability to handle complex cases.Excellent drafting and communication skills.Exceptional attention to detail.Ability to work effectively within deadlines and collaborate within a team environment.Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming a member.Education:
A bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science is preferred.Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Admission to the Patent Bar is preferred.Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of obtaining it.Skills:
Proficiency in patent and trademark law.Legal research and analysis skills.Litigation strategy development and execution.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
